Hi Will
I always found that your tests are good, especially the fact that you are
playing your tournaments on a strong Dual PC and with Ponder On, which makes
such experiments very very rare.

I must say that i wasn't surprised by the overall performance of Junior 8,
because it's really a very strong engine. The only thing that disappointed me is
that you haven't even tried to test my special settings for Shredder 7.04
(Haddad1.2DP5) even after i prooved me and my friends who help me in my homepage
by releasing their games that this special setting was by far the best setting
ever for Shredder 7.04 in all Time Controls, even in Classic Time Control.

I encourage you in your current project. But this time i think that Junior8 will
find his master (Shredder 8).

Just one thing, don't you think that Shredder 8 is a little bit favoured by it's
newest Book? Because i overviewed his book (as usual there are some big blunders
in these books) which contains some of the latest important theretical novelties
! May be the impact of such theoretical novelties will not be so important,
but if Shredder will win one or two games because of playing a new better line
that doesn't exists in the Junior8 Book this will lead without any dougt to
Shredder's win even if Shredder doesn't need the support of a "better" opening
book to win this match.

I also suggest that you try the new Ruffian 2.0.2 and the Old Ruffian Leiden
2003. And this match will be really a very very exciting one. I also suggest to
try Deep Junior 7 if you have it because the different style of play of DJ7
especially it's excessive agressiveness will give us very beautiful attacking
games.
