From what I learn about Ferret, Ferret is searching at least this speed too.
Bruce may have more up-to-date info about it.

My program, Initiative, have typical rate 200K on P6-200. And it is a pure C
program. I believe it is possible that a program without assember can search
250K nps at P6-200.
