Indeed, but this game clearly shows Ruffian making two blunders in a row (68...Qe6? and 69....fxe6??). I don't know the specifics of the game (hardware, pondering, etc.), but I think we are all familiar with Ruffian's rather liberal use of the clock in the opening and middlegame, leading to time pressure in longer games. Additionally, 70...Kxd6 is not as good as 70...f5, but I think this one might be forgiven under time pressure. CM_SKR will play 68...Qxh3 and 69...Kxe6 in these two positions no matter what the time control. jm
