Shearer James (aka Rabid), Interesting you should mention it, but the other day on FICS Amateur hung a rook about move 50. I thought I had fixed that #@&%&@ thing! When I rewrote the search recently I guess that broke. About claiming the draw, I know you have to claim it on the 3 position repetition, but thought ICC called it on the 50 move deal. It's certainly automatic for a "no material to mate" draw, and also for stalemate. I'll have to check on that. >PS: Btw is this club for programs only? Yes, the club is for programs only. No humans allowed! It would mess up our pairing system, and the rankings! And some programs might refuse to play you! Besides, humans don't play real computer chess, anyway. Will
