Hi Frank,

Excellent question. Here is one example of an "off topic post" that I would not
have allowed for one simple reason. The answer is easily found on google, and
does not relate to this forum at all:

Personal an [OT] post is fine with me as long as it meets certain criteria:

1. It has _something_ to do with chess/computer chess. ie. settings for computer
chess, computer issues relating to computer chess, programming ideas.. you get
the picture.

2. Is not deflamitory and agrees with (1).

The CCC has some highly technical people here, but this is not the place for
computer technical support especially when it comes down to a problem not
related to computer chess. The above post had something to do with a graphics
driver.. nothing to do with computer chess, and chess was not even mentioned in
the post. He could have simply looked it up on google.
