Subject: Question to Moderators..

hi

i have read each candidates Moderation philosophy ..
each candidate seems knowledgeable enough about things "computer chess"
what i am interested to know is..
why does one WANT to be a moderator?

i know there is a certain amount of time one must commit to,to be available
here.
i am assuming there is no pay
i can see no "tangible benefit" one receives

other then a politically correct answer like"i love computer chess''
please explain WHY you want to be a moderator
