Hi there, I did this small experiment. Starting point: the machine on which there is a Hungarian WinXP installed with only one user. The Ruffian update is installed and works fine. Now I created a new user, named Gábor (you see, with an accented character at the second place). I deleted the Ruffian updates, then did the update once again SWITCHING FIRST TO THIS USER. And Ruffian did not work, I got the usual "unlicensed..." error message. I switched back to the original user (which had only English characters), and, to my surprise, Ruffian worked fine! Now I created a 3rd user, switched to it, deleted Ruffians, repeated the update process, and... Ruffian worked from this user's profile! Switching to the original profile, Ruffian also worked! BUT SWITCHING TO THE 'ACCENTED' PROFILE, Ruffian did not work! So it seems that ANY USER NAME WITH UNUSUAL CHARACTERS IS IGNORED. My proposition: until this is solved, rename your user profiles to simple names. Then update your Ruffian, and, hopefully, it will work. I wish I had right. Gábor
