I remember in older ssdf-list they often spoke about their "resources" problem and that they cannot test hiarcs on 486-66 but only on 33 mhz because they had to give all those "resources" to genius instead :-)) This was when Hiarcs was world-chess champion in 1993/1993. So the resources-problem definetely seems to be an authentic problem they had. maybe this was only a sentence you misinterpreted diep. it was not a request that YOU should send him a machine, but a kind of : "oh - we have so much to do and not enough computer !" kind of statement.
