Afzal,

Complete package for what? Chess Master 9000 has good tutorials, but if you
also want to analyze games, keep a database of games, play on the Internet at
playchess.com, etc., I would recommend one of the Chessbase products.

I own CM9k, Fritz 8, Hiarcs 9, Shredder 7 and 8, Junior 8, and Chess Tiger 15.
I initially owned CM9k, but once I bought Fritz, I haven't used CM9k except to
make a UCI-engine out of "The King 3.23." I wish I had known of the Chessbase
stuff before I purchased CM9k. CM9k isn't bad - just that for what I like to do
(playing games, playing on the 'net, optimizing opening books, analyzing my
games, etc.), the Chessbase products have an edge.

For your first purchase, I recommend Fritz 8. Fritz is a solid, balanced engine
that will never bore you and will give you good analysis. All the others are
good, too, but Fritz will suit your needs. Beware! Your curiousity will get
the better of you, and you will want to buy the others, too!
