So it won't happen. GMs are professionals. They play against whoever they get paid to play against. None of the top GM's will refuse to play computers, if they get paid well to play. They will prefer you pay them a fixed amount, so that the result against the program doesn't matter. That will make it cheaper to motivate them to play against the machine, because if they can see this game as a relax game instead of a very difficult game like they have so many where they only win a big price when they win, they will charge less in that case and it will make it cheaper to join. So just use professional logics when dealing with GMs it works very simple. Difficult game: big reward Simple game : small reward Let's see, if total budget of Linares top group is around $1 million, joining 2 programs i estimate at around $250k. That's like 25% of the total budget for just that single group. That i would consider a buy for the publicity it gives. Best regards, Vincent
