Since 2002 I collect computer games played by the 7 best commercial engines in 20 minutes or more. For now, I have got a databse with more that 26 000 games. When I check this base, I notice that the B80 and B85 openings (scheveninge system) appear a great number of times: more than 1000 times. Statistically, it's simply huge. How can we explain this tendency? It seems that it s very easy for white and for black to force the opponent to play this line... Do I mistake? Secondly, does that mean that this line could be a key in engines matches. I wonder if a book especially prepared for this opening couldn't make the difference in tournaments. Thx for your comments and answers... Gilles
