It looks like we have two different flavors of Crafty - I compiled the 19.11 SE with the Futility option - I am pretty sure that Dann did not compile wth the Futility option in the 19.11 DC version. You will see the difference in nodes when you run the bench command. The futility options may slow it down down about 2-3% but it will usually look at less positions (90% or less). YMMV. I only post because of the questions I'm getting. Thanks Michael
