You can get Scid from here: >http://scid.sourceforge.net/ Thanks but how did you use it? What exactly did you give it and what did you get out of it? What code did you write yourself? Did you write a code to get a pgn and add every move of white in the pgn to your book or the same for black? I did not learn the possibilitues to use scid and I do not know exactly how to start because I only get a program and I do not like to read a lot of information in the help pages only to understand after reading enough what can help me. I can imagine some way that an external program can help for example if you give it one pgn and it return you another pgn when every white move in the second pgn should be in your book but I do not know if Scid does it and even in that case I need to write a program that translates some big pgn to book for white or to book for black.
