finally after a good while of debugging i managed to hunt down a bug and im really puzzled here. how does one determine castling rights w/o knowing the sequence of previous moves. i know i should be using fen stuff but the problem is that on fics if u resume an adjourned game the position is fed to engine by edit cmd. so what do u do if king and rooks are in their places?castling possible or not?please enlighten me, thnx in advance
