Marc can answer better than I can on what is possible but the current state
is...
'gtbgen', the generalised 'tbgen', can generate endgame EGTs for games played on
a rectangular board.
For example, Marc's code generates:
a) endgames for Gothic Chess on a 8(row) * 10(column) board
this, see Ed Tozer's posts, has 2 extra pieces: B+N and R+N
b) endgames for 06x06 chess - we allow P=B although Bs do not 'start'
c) endgames for 12x12 and 16x16 boards
John Beasley is analysing 'intrinsic' KQKR behaviour
5x5 EGTs are possible, though my 'DTC' code is kindly compiled by MB for the 6x6
board.
I guess you are referring to a 2-player game on a hexagonal board.
Afaik, no endgames have been created for n-person games with n > 2: this would
be very interesting, but only possible if the players play in a defined sequence
regardless of the 'history' of the game which is not represented in the
definition of 'position'.
However, one has to define:
a) what constitutes a 'win', and
b) what is being 'minimised' or 'maximised' at each turn
