Depends on te follwing criteria:
1) cheap: get Crafty plus Winboard, is free and strong enough for us patzers but
not that many features and not that professional GUI, meaning not so easy to
handle.
2) analyzing features: Fritz5
3) features combined with playing style and playing strength: Rebel10, maybe
Fritz5
4) strength at all: Chessmaster6000/MCP8/Hiarcs6 (Rebel10) they are all at the
same prize and only differ in playing style, probably not in playing strength
