I want to get some advice but please without formulas and mathematics. What I want to know is this - like a greedy gambler: what strategy should I adopt, playing against players with Elo numbers 200 lower than mine, winning, getting 4 or 5 points always, but LOSING 60 points if you lose a game only once - not to forget the bad average you played against, or playing against BETTER players, learning more, getting a draw here and there and ... or always and strictly playing against players of my actual Elo? What would you say? Or is it a question of character? Sorry, but this becomes a bit off-topic then. Rolf
