1. Windows need RAM too for the internal fs cache. Well, don't use all RAM for
the engine.

2. The point is that your harddisk is the slowest factor. If y want a little bit
more speed you should use SCSI harddisk with >= 10.000 min and a RAID 1 or Raid
5 over all EGTB files.

For the best performance i'm using
(Thats not the reason why i have it but it helps)

- A SCSI hardware (i960 risc) raid controller with build in 512MB ECC cache
memory
 (on the hardware card)

- 4 SCSI 10K Harddrives

- Setup all drives to a Raid 5 (Raid 0  would be faster, but i need security)

Okay, at all this stuff are expensive. But i got this from my work :)
