That's very interesting:  nicely done.

It would be good to know what programs can play 6x6 chess.  I guess Zillions
includes a 6x6 game but don't know.

It represents 'virgin territory' in the 'opening book' area for those who want
to exercise 'opening book evolution' algorithms.

There's also a view that the endgames give insight into what happens on 8x8
boards.

... and there's that historical connection.


Marc B has just finished all 6x6 (DTC) EGTs for 3-to-6-man endgames.
