that's a nice answer, Fernando. are happy because you beat the machine? or are
you celebrating nostalghia for your youth?
my fidelity challenger used to cheat, and refused to believe i'd capture its
queen. i don't think i want to play it again. the opening books on those early
machines was very narrow. i hope that i have grown as a man and a chessplayer
since those days. therefore i get the sense that replaying those games,
reproducing those hacks and exploiting old program bugs, would be too much like
milking a cow--(as some say of playing the ruy lopez).
i'd love to know your answer. best regards-marc
