since I'm not yet registered in the Winboard-Forum, I might add here, that the
Taskmanager under Windows shows 65 MB allocated for fruit.exe if I set the
Hashsize to 64 MB under Arena - so it seems Fruit already uses more than 16 MB.

Best wishes with your engine, I will test it too and report any bugs.
