Well, as you may know Ruffian is commercial now. It can be obtained from:

or
http://www.lokasoft.nl/ruffian.htm

On the CD version of Ruffian2.0.0, there is also a Linux and a Mac OS X version
of Ruffian. (I'm not sure about the download version).

My engine is also still in ultra-alpha stage, and supports only some xboard
commands right now, so take your time. But it would be great to have an native
interface.
