Junior 8's speculative style has not paid off in this tournament. Even 60 rounds can lend itself to a worse than expected result. Junior 8 finished 2nd in my previous tournament (20 programs, 76 rounds, 40 moves in 20 minutes repeating), so I did expect it to perform more strongly than it has in this tournament. In my next tournament I'll trot out Deep Junior 8 to try and restore some honour!
