There are now 928,489 games available. A word of warning: I stripped out *all* of the comments from the files. Some were just plain wrong because some tools strangely merged them. At any rate, I was getting too many messages from users with tools that could not read commented PGN files properly. The big files a.zip, b.zip, c.zip, d.zip, and e.zip contain ECO classifed openings for A00-A99, B00-B99, C00-C99, D00-D99 and E00-E99 respectively. In subdirectory a-openings the file A.PGN is subdivided into the individual entries A00 through A99. Similarly for b-openings through e-openings. Enjoy. Anybody have some good PGN files to add? I prefer high quality games at long time controls.
