'they' are jason repa, who posts here under various disgruntled identities-- some of which have been banned. mr repa uses thses 'invitations' to collect valid email identities to sell to spammers, and to spam himself. and he will ban any ccc member from his group to prevent that ccc member from exposing repa there.
