It only happens when replying to a message and choosing to quote the prior message in the reply. In that case the prior message is first printed in the composition window, inserting some wedges (>) at the left side of the lines. The defined boundaries of the composition box are 80 columns x 20 rows. If the prior message is printed with any lines having exactly 80 characters in the composition window, then this bug happens. Somehow the internal mechanism that calculates line lengths and line breaks is making an error. I don't know how to fix it, but that's what's happening... WP WP
