Yes... for those not knowing it, Ken received the A.M. Turing award for outstanding contribution to Computer Science, for being the primary author of the original Bell Labs version of Unix... He received this in 1983 at the World Computer Chess Championship that year, held at the annual ACM conference... He certainly deserves lots of credit for unix and belle...
