Its impossible to say really I've talked to a lot of people who run Shredder 8 on ICC, and they say that GM's wont play it, sometimes IM's but Gm's don't really seem interested, Its impossible to say if Shredder 8 is the best vs humans and computers, cause no one seems to play it :( although it only lost 1 game out of hundreds on the chessbase server when it was tossed into the main playing hall when it was released, and that single game was a bullet game,
