A won simplified position is to be preferred above a won complex position, with always the risk of overlooking a deep tactic or get lost in a difficult schwindle. Any human will choose the first. We just needed a well-rated player to confirm that it's an easyily won endgame, and I guess it's confirmed now. Did you notice which commercial programs solved it? - Fritz 5.32 - TheKing - Hiarcs That's it, all the rest are confused by speculative king-safety after Qh3, while there seems no catastrophal tactic in the Qh3 line.
