My first platforms was Iskra-1030/11 (clone of 8086) and BK-0010-01 (clone of PDP-11). Under second platform (it was my personal computer) I spent a lot of time programming on Assembler. SWAB procedure in PDP-11 is procedure to swap major and minor bytes in word. For example: MOV R1,#100 SWAB R1 And then word "swab" pass a deep roots into my mind :)) >but i don't mean to bicker, i very much enjoy your thought-provoking posts! >thanks for all of them. ;)
