I guess the page requires Java support. This was an issue with my new notebook
too, where I have WinXP at (for the first time) and discovered, that the Windows
installation does not include Java support anymore. I.e., my online PGN viewer
didn't work.

I downloaded Java support from sun: http://www.java.com/

It's not very large and works like before, with control options the previous
(win) version didn't offer.

When I access Sarah's site, the Java symbol appears in the tool bar, indicating
that Java is active. Although, I'm not 100% sure if it cooperates somehow with
javascript code too (I don't think so), so it may (?) be a javascript issue
rather than a Java issue.

I don't think it's related to the Internet Explorer security settings, because
if it was, people who have programs with that site, must have problems with many
page's navigation. IMO normal surfing is impossible with javascript deactivated.
