I tried to reproduce this error with my Deep Fritz 8 Version. The Interface is
from November 17, 2003 (see menue "Help" -> "About Deep Fritz 8").
All 3 + 4 + 5 pieces endgame tablebase files are installed.
Your error could not be reproduced. In the main engine pane the following is
being displayed:

1. =  (0.00) 1.Kb4
2. -+ (-#27) 1.Kd5
3. -+ (-#22) 1.Nc6
4. -+ (-#19) 1.Kc4
5. -+ (-#19) 1.Kc6
6. -+ (-#19) 1.Kd6
...

Maybe your respective tablebase files are corrupted.

Greetings
Alex
