I did not look at all the details of the tscp code that was posted(it is a long time ago since I worked on the code of connecting movei with winboard) but I could play some moves against tscp1.81 and quit so I cannot reproduce your problem. xboard new time 6000 a2a3 tscp after few seconds: move e7e5 time 5800 b2b4 tscp after few seconds:move d7d5 quit Uri
