It's irritating to first run some test to check if >parameters really are used now >and only then start serious testing... > >Can anybody confirm this? > >Jouni While you are doing the test suites, why don't you check the engine parameters but press cancel instead of 'ok' so it doesn't stop processing, that way you can tell if the parameters have been saved i've had shredder 8 since it was released and never noticed this problem, and i have dozens of different 'personalities' all work fine the only bug that pisses me off is the UCI ERROR bugs in tournaments, it can't load the uci engine half the time, and it is REALLY annoying
