here's the specific problem Thom....
if shredder is not the last of the three that you loaded, then you overworte a
working GUI with something inadequate.
when you get the system back, load shredder as the last of your fritz-based
installs before you run the program and you will have no problems.

eg, if install fritz8 after shredder8, then the system gets fouled. you need to
do a few uninstalls. Do you understand how to use system restore (of the windows
OS) incase this happens again? Symantec just purchased 'GoBack' from Roxio--
this product is pretty nifty too.
