When I'm not using null move, my move ordering (fail-high on first move / fail-high) is usually slightly higher than 90%. But when I use null move pruning, my move ordering drops significantly, down to as low as 45% in some positions. Has any experienced similar phenomenon or have any clues as to what could be going on? Michael
