You guys are funny!! I think you miss the point.
I was just making fun of these arguments as I think it's silly. I do prefer
junior 5,or a rebel 9 program for my purposes, but I am not here to say that
they are any stronger, I have been following the matches played with CM6000
and it would seem to be at least as strong.
But really anything over 2500 will beat most masters anyway, so I don't
even see the need to really compare or debate in issues of strenth anymore
among the top 10 programs as these seem within 50 pts of each other. I
have good results with computers and, am myself a master player on ICC
(look up ERIQ), but all of them would beat me in a standard 10 game match,
though I would not be totally Blanked out :)
Now I would also like to say that before I purchase any product, I try
to look and see if I really need it as I have a limited buget. I do have
a chess addiction so I have aloted some money for that :)As far as CM
goes I have owned or played everone of them except 6000 which so I hear
is very good, I really don't have a need for it but may get it when it
goes on sale.
So I think what I trying to say is that my ad was for fun and that's all.
