Although I have been using chess software for MANY years, and play with either
2D or 3D setups, depending on my mood. However, I find that I seem to play
better (or, at least, feel more comfortable) OTB. Perhaps it's all simply
psychological (i.e. an illusion), but I have noticed subtle differences in the
way I am able to see the board.
