You are absolutely right, I must have been very tired then! - "new" is a must, the engine must be able to play several games in one session - "force" is useful for Nunn matches and other opening-specific tournaments - "level" of course; the more time controls you accept the better There is nothing "tournament-specific" that I know of. The reason is very simple; WinBoard does not know what a tournament is, separate software that calls Winboard for each game is usually used. Hope it's more useful this time ... Fabien.
