At end of this pv -
white's g6 f6 and one of the blacks bishop's locked away in the flank while
black not being able to queen immediately due to white's bishop - wont this not
lead to a loss ??

I have insufficient chess knowledge to analysis this properly , but I suspect
something can happen favourably for white at the end of this pv that you have
shown ....
