MicroSoft LongHorn Windows is being released in the next year or two allowing
end users to purchase 64 bit CPUs and use them under the popular Windows GUI.

How do you think this will affect computer chess ?

Do u think the successful CB chess engines will have to be ported to 64 bits to
have a chance to survive ??

How much ELO increase can we expect in the chess engines ?
