I totally agree with you, I was thinking more along the lines of playing a few
games just to see what would happen at those time control.

At the moment of my other computer with the same hardware as I played my current
topurnament on. My new settings in 20 games are winning over the cm6555 settings
by 14:6, which has blown me away so far, but I am making them play at least 40
games between each other, and if the results are still impressive I will post my
test settings for that personality.
