Subject: Constructing Opening Books for Bots - Help Request !!

Author: Mike Taylor

My bot(C) plays over 90% (C)omputer accounts, most (H)umans cannot beat it.

I constructed my own Opening Book by taking "CB Database 2000" with 1.4 Million
games and filtering it with "=>2500 ELO & Wins" this gave me about 30,000 games
starting around 1971.

I am wide open for suggestions on creating a better opening book, unfortunately
I cannot use *.ctg books as I have to convert them into *.pgn and then import
them under Arena into *.abk format.

Certainly limits my options :(

In addition, what exactly are anti-computer openings ? Closed positions ?

Remember, over 90% of my games are against (C)omputers. So closed positions
might be good for a (H)uman vs (C)omputer but may not be appropriate for
(C)omputer vs (C)omputer ?!?

Any constructive inpute would be appreciated :)

Cordially
