Subject: Invisible Moderation??

there was a thread here about Advanced chess that seems to have been deleted out
usually if a thread is deleted a moderator will explain the reason for its
deletion

am i not seeing this message from the moderator?
OR
is the thread still here and is there a problem with the CCC search engine?
OR
is there a new policy to delete threads without explanation?
