Due to the configuration hassle, I'm not considering to buy nor to recommend a new Chessmaster version when that OPK nonsense isn't discarded. The main CM program installalion could check for the original CD by all possible security means, and the engine would only have to check for that on the system. I can imagine an encrypted registry key could serve for that or the like (I have no idea how that is done usually). It should be possible to replace the OPK method with something, which allows a simple use in other WB.-capable GUIs like with any other WB.-engine. Regards, Mike Scheidl
