Pirat is basically a GUI for correspondence chess management (like EC Tools),
and you're able to hook it up with UCI engines.

The description says:
a strong engine; (no mention which)
six printing modules for printing diagrams, game score, database, postcard,
letter and addresses all with print preview;
module for managing CC games (email/fax/snailmail)
endgame tablebases & TB-generator
a database module able of handling PGN (small databases) and a native PIR-format
based on the Borland database engine for big databases
a module for creating and maintaining an opening repertoire
Auto232 support
GUI supports UCI-protocol with ability to play round robin tournaments and
"running the gauntlet".

etc.

Tweakable GUI
