One problem with this is that a large number of people have paid email accounts
with domains that also offer a limited, trial free account.  I've had a paid
accounct at .mac since they became available and they offer such trial accounts.

Yet because FICS does not permit registration of a .mac email address (see their
web site and give it a try), my program Symbolic will not be playing there.

If CCC engages in the same blind denial of .mac accounts, I have to stop posting
here as well.
