Thanks for the kind words, but I think you are too optimistic.  And even if it

day achieve "commercial strength", it will never be of "commercial quality".

I don't want money.  I want people to have fun and be happy, and computer chess
in general (not only my engine) to advance.  :-)

You'll never be able to buy it, of course.  :-)

Regarding the tactical monstrosity:  You are probably referring to Gábor's
impressive
results for Gothmog in the ECMGCP test suite reported on the Winboard forum
earlier
today.  I'll reveal a little secret:  Gothmog is cheating (but don't tell
anyone).  It often guesses
that a combination works a couple of plies before it is really able to calculate
it all.  In
real games, it occasionally backfires.
