Fritz is created by chessbase and does not have a public protocol to allow other interfaces to load the Fritz engine. It can load the nalimov egtb's only. That's 600GB in total for the currently available EGTBs, if not more already. DIEP is having its own GUI nowadays (apart from that the engine is in cardozachess too) and has its own EGTB's which are a lot smaller. Do you understand that? There is more interfaces than just fritz you know... ...www.shredderchess.de for another weak engine (150 rating points weaker than shredder for sure).
