But Volker Annuss is programmer of an chess program too. Hermann is an UCI and WB compatible engine. Hermann supported FRC (Fisher Random Chess). Interesting is that Volker have very nice ideas in his engine development and its nice to see that Hermann make big steps. We are very very happy that Hermann is now an Arena partner. In the next days you can find some information of Hermann in Arena Partner selection. Volker Annuss have an own webpage too: http://www.nnuss.de/Hermann/index.html Two reasons for me to try that Hermann is Arena partner: 01. His engine is very interesting with a great support of engine protocols 02. The friendly programmer give us impressions and helps and I like it to read his messages in our Arena Support Forum. For me is nice to see that Arena is stronger and stronger. Arena is for me the most interesting Engine Test GUI with the most possibilities for amateur chess programmers, good service / support and fast updates. Users of Arena have fun on our development and alone this is important. Arena is Freeware! Best Frank
